Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will be required to provide temporary employees to the Town at the hourly rate proposed. The job duties performed by these employees shall be raking, sweeping, trimming bushes, string trimming, painting with brushes and rollers, washing vehicles by hand and with steam cleaner, litter collection and other general custodial type duties. Contractor will provide an insurance certificate to the Town per the requirements listed in the specifications. Contractor will furnish transportation for the temporary employees to and from the Town department requesting services. Any temporary employee found to be unsatisfactory to the Town will not be sent back to the Town for another work assignment. As necessary, the Contractor may be requested to remove a temporary employee on the same business day if requested by the Town department. Manchester residents shall be given first preference for any services required by the Town. The Contractor will check employment references on all temporary employees placed in Manchester. The contractor must conduct a police records check on any temporary employee to be assigned to the Town of Manchester. A copy of the records check must be given to and reviewed by the Town of Manchester Human Resources Department PRIOR to the temporary employee starting work. All temporary employees shall wear proper safety gear as provided by the Town.
