Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of Bend Police Department is looking to implement a detect and alert system for small aircraft and helicopters that will provide a real-time picture of the aerial space around the deployment areas helping to avoid any airspace conflicts or collisions. Requirements • Ground based hardware units with a capability of being mounted to rooftops • 360 degrees scanning and detection capability • Minimum scanning area of 10 square km/6.21 square miles • Detection capability for small aircrafts and helicopters • Capable of detecting aircraft that are not using a transponder • Able to notify Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Operators of detected aircraft • Scalable for larger deployments and additional sites to be added in the future • Capable of integrating with Axon Air, preferred but not a requirement; Deliverables • Ground based hardware units that are capable of being mounted on rooftops • Operating platform allowing UAS operators to receive real-time detection and alerts • Implementation of software • Training on the use and functionality of the operating platform
