Specifications include, but are not limited to: Supply 6 used shipping containers for rental with approximate sizes of each at 8'x 40' x 9'6 to be used for mobile walkways to service aircraft ground boarding positions as shown on Exhibit A. Each container shall have one window placed in the center of each container to provide natural lighting, these windows shall be a fixed window placed on the south exposure. Total of 6 windows. The window can be a single pane style and do not need to be insulated. There shall be a single doors provided on two containers that serve the ground boarding positions. (2 doors total) The supplier shall field verify with the Airport on the exact location of the doors to service the areas. The doors shall be a single weather proof heavy door that is able to meet all ADA entity and exit requirements. The supplier shall connect the containers together to provide a seamless contiguous floor surface that is free of lips, dips and bumps in that it will provide the safe passage of passengers to the ground boarding positions. The supplier shall ensure that wheelchairs can move freely and without hazard along the route. The connections between the containers shall be watertight and the supplier shall ensure materials such as waterproof rubber gaskets and steel plating is utilized to ensure the seamless connections. Container rental period shall be approximately 15 months from the time of install. Supplier shall bill the rental fee on a monthly basis. The Airport reserves the right to end the rental term upon a 30 day notice to supplier. At that time, the supplier shall organize with the Airport on specific removal times and dates. Supplier shall price the rental and install fees in two separate categories. Included in the setup fees shall be the following: Connection of containers to form a linear walkway, preparation fees for containers to make them usable walkways, the placing and leveling of the containers, the teardown and removal of the containers. The airport will be coordinating the electrical component installs for this project separately. The supplier shall be responsible for having their respective workers on the project go through the airport badging process to work in the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA). This will involve the supplier following the airport rules for the badging process to include an application, fingerprinting and a Security Threat Assessment (STA) Additionally the workers will need to go through all the required training including SIDA training and Non-movement training. It typically requires 3-4 hours per worker to go through the entire process including multiple visits to the airport. The cost of a SIDA badge is $85 per person which shall be paid by the supplier.
