Specifications include, but are not limited to: facilitate Mental Health First Aid trainings to fidelity as requested and at or above the standard mandated by the National Council for Behavioral Health, which is the organization that manages, operates and administers Mental Health First Aid. The Proposer is expected to have the ability to provide trainings in both Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid. The Proposer is expected to facilitate trainings across Multnomah County in locations secured by the Behavioral Health Prevention Coordinator and/or other comparable Multnomah County employee. It is our desire at Multnomah County that the contractor be culturally responsive and thereby able to honor and align with the beliefs, practices, culture and linguistic needs of diverse consumer and client populations. The proposer is not required but welcome to include additional mental health awareness and suicide prevention trainings within their proposed scope of work including Applied Suicide Skill Intervention Training, Youth SAVE (Suicide Awareness Various Environments), Oregon Counseling on Access to Lethal Means, Sources of Strength, and similar trainings to meet community needs.
