Specifications include, but are not limited to: REMOVAL OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT: To properly remove & dispose of one existing Trane M# YCH301C3L0AB unit and all items associated with this equipment. Existing refrigerant (or refrigerant product) shall be removed from existing equipment prior to disposal and provide the City of Kenner proof of change of ownership of the refrigerant (or refrigerant product) on proper EPA approved form. EQUIPMENT: To furnish and install one (1) new 25-ton, 3 phase, 208/310 volt Trane Unit (Model GCC300A3ELA** (or equal) package unit with 250,000 BTU’s of gas heating. Factory options include comparative enthalpy economizer, hail guard, phase monitor, 40% pre-pleated filters, 115 volt convenience outlet and horizontal duct flanges. DUCTWORK: Remove and dispose of all exterior supply and return ductwork on the outside of the building. Fabricate 22 gauge sheet metal ductwork on the exterior of the building to connect to newly installed equipment. Two coats of primer and exterior paint to match existing gym color on all duct work. Canvas connectors shall be furnished on supply & return. Square ductwork shall be internally lined with 2” insulation including glue and weld pins. Duct connections shall be 4-bolt flange type with neoprene gaskets and cleats. All supply and return sheet metal elbows shall contain double turning vanes. ELECTRICAL: Furnish & install one new 200 amp NEMA 3R 208/230 volt 3 phase electrical disconnect box with manufacturer’s recommended fuse sizes. Route electrical wire from disconnect to unit which is to include all necessary conduit, fittings and flex. All electrical shall be performed solely by local or state licensed electricians and shall meet all local state and Federal codes. DRAIN LINES: Supply and re-route new copper drain line from the new unit to the existing subsurface drainage. Supply proper trap & cleanout per manufacturer’s guidelines. Insulate with ¾” rubbertex. Paint all exposed insulation with UV resistant coating
