Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Training Unit for Services and Supports within the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Aging and People with Disabilities (APD) (Agency) provides training for case managers who provide services for people living with disabilities and people who need support as they age. Our vision is that Oregon’s older adults, people with disabilities and their families experience person-centered services, supports and early interventions that are innovative and help maintain independence, promote safety and well-being, honor choice, respect cultural preferences and uphold dignity. The services provided help people access the supports they need to live their best lives in the communities they choose and at every stage of life. The Agency is developing a comprehensive online training program for new case managers. The Core Case Management program will allow new case managers to begin training immediately, while learning at their own pace, and provide a foundation of fundamental concepts to build upon in future training. The program will include an interactive workbook to supplement 50 online modules. The successful Proposer will create an interactive workbook, available in print and ebook format, titled "The Core Case Management Passport.” The workbook will accompany a 6-week online training program for new ODHS APD case managers. The workbook will be created using Adobe InDesign and will include some interactions. The workbook must adhere to Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards provided by ODHS. The end product will be formatted for electronic and print use.
