Furnish and install all labor, material and equipment for all Work shown and/or specified in accordance with 19 the Contract Documents, except as excluded below. 20 2. This Scope of Work Section 1.03 also applies to all applicable awarded alternates. 21 3. Information provided under “Also Included” points out some items which may be considered less obvious or 22 “unconventional”, but which are included in the Scope of Work. 23 4. This Bid Package Description is intended to clarify scope to the Contractor, but is in no way intended to limit 24 scope that is reasonable inferable as being required by the Work included in this description. Work required 25 under a Bid Package may be shown or specified anywhere in the Contract Documents. 26 27 Also included but not limited to as applicable and/or directed: 28 1. Trenching/compaction and backfill Work. 29 2. Concrete/asphalt patching Work. 30 3. The furnishing/installing of composite aluminum infill panels if penetrations must be made through window 31 system. 32 4. All demolition and removal and/or replacement of Work associated with this Bid Package. 33 5. Coordination with other Contractors working on this campus. 34 6. Weather protection during the course of construction (See Section 00 72 00, General Conditions). 35 7. Temporary barricades, signs, pedestrian protection, temporary facilities and traffic control Work. 36 8. All sealants and required firestopping associated with this Bid Package. 37 9. All access panels including backing and blocking, associated with this Bid Package. 38 10. Daily and final clean-up. 39 11. Asbestos Abatement Work associated with this Bid Package. 40 12. Lead-Based Paint Surface Preparation Work associated with this Bid Package. 41 13. Pre-manufactured rooftop curbs for HVAC equipment. 42 14. All roofing demolition, repair, replacement, roof patching, sheet metal flashing/counter flashing and 43 accessories associated with this Bid Package. 44 15. Protection, adaptation to new roof system, and re-installation of all existing (E) roof-top piping, conduit, wire, 45 vents, flues, reglets, equipment, smoke detectors, curbs, and sleepers during the roof removal/replacement 46 operations. 47 16. Patching, repairing, painting and/or replacement of all finished surfaces disturbed during construction. 48 17. Protection of new and existing roofing from damage. 49 18. Final testing of all systems installed prior to final acceptance. 50 19. Qualified/certified C-7, C10, and C16 licensed technicians must perform the replacement and/or repair of 51 existing low voltage systems disturbed during construction, and the District must be given the opportunity to 52 test and accept the Work prior to covering up. 53 20. Provide temporary means of operation for existing storm, water, sewer, gas, mechanical, electrical, and low 54 voltage systems during construction.
