Specifications include, but are not limited to: At Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens, we continue to make improvements to the facility for enhancing the guest experience and animal welfare. This scope of work shall include the addition of a shading system to extend the current shade system. See attached drawing for measurements for the new structure. The new shade structure shall be designed to match the existing structure. The contractor shall design the post layout/spacing to achieve the two structures outlined in the drawing. The base requirement of this structure is as follows: • Structure to be made from 2 inch galvanized box tubing • Spacing for posts should be at 10 feet for length of span • Spacing for posts should be at 15 feet for the width of span • Vertical posts to be set at 10 feet height above grade The contractor shall also provide and install shade cloth for the structure. The shade cloth percentage for the front half of the rectangular section will be 20% shade and the back half of the rectangular section will be 60% shade. The triangular section will be 60% shade.
