Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City takes the responsibility of selecting the Artists to perform based on the budgeted amount the City has allocated for Artists fees. Once the Artists are identified, the City and Promoter engage in a meeting to align on the chosen Artists. It is during this meeting that the Promoter is assigned the task of approaching the Artists and negotiating Artists fees. The Promoter is to have their own separate contract with the Artists and takes responsibility of managing all aspects of the negotiated contract. Once the Promoter receives verbal agreements from the Artists, the City proceeds to issue a Purchase Order that outlines essential details such as the Event date, names of the selected Artists, talent fee and the Promoters compensation fee. Purchase Order is to be structured based on the payment and fee schedule provided in Section 2.1.4.
