Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bid prices should include all costs for labor, equipment and material necessary to remove and dispose of existing concrete for the thickness as shown. Where concrete to be removed has been over-laid with asphalt, the Contractor will be paid for such added average thickness. Curbing shall be removed with the slab where required and the curb height will not be added to slab thickness. Should the City desire, the Contractor will dump broken concrete at a disposal site designed by the City at no added cost, provided that the disposal (dumping) site is within a radius of ten (10) miles from the work site and does not involve crossing the Mississippi River. Additionally, should the City desire, the Contractor will load broken concrete onto City trucks at the work site at no added costs, provided that the City trucks are present at the work site for loading as the concrete is being removed and do not unduly delay the Contractor’s work. Care must be exercised so that jointing materials and devices adjacent to the concrete to be removed shall not be damaged. Any pavement damaged by the Contractor as a result of negligence, either willful or accidental will be replaced at the Contractor’s expense
