Specifications include, but are not limited to: Turf Mowing – Lawns shall be mowed at an appropriate height as to keep a neat appearance, including areas between vehicles at the Impound Facility. Clippings are to be collected and removed from the job site at the end of each visit. Permanent fixtures in the turf areas are to be trimmed as to maintain a neat appearance. Turf Edging – Edging and trimming along curbs, walks, bed edges and tree wells shall be done to keep a neat appearance. Edging that cannot be addressed during regular visits due to vehicle obstructions is to be discussed with the District Commander. Trash and Debris Removal – Curbs, sidewalks, etc. are to be cleared as to keep a neat appearance. Contractor is responsible for removing trash and debris from the property during routine visits. Vegetation Maintenance – Trees, shrubbery, and planting beds shall be maintained as to prevent excessive overgrowth near all entrances. Weeds and invasive growth in areas such as parking lot, sidewalk, etc. shall be cut back as to maintain a neat appearance. Frequency – Contractor shall work with District Commander to determine needed frequency of services, as seasonal weather, particularly rainfall, will have an impact on the need for mowing. Other Services – Fall clean-up to be performed late in fall but prior to first snowfall shall include removal of fallen leaves from all areas of the property and cutting back of decorative vegetation. Contractor shall supply a single point of contact to whom the City may direct questions, concerns, requests for additional service, etc.
