Specifications include, but are not limited to: : The City of Superior, Wisconsin is seeking bids for the residential recycling collection program for the providing of 64-gallon carts (or 96-gallon carts upon resident request), collection, hauling, processing and marketing of recyclable materials from approximately 9,865 households, including single-family residences and two-to-four-unit residences, in 10 neighborhood zones that presently receive garbage collection. Also included is 64-gallon, 96-gallon, 6- and 8-yard dumpsters at various City owned properties. Collection of recyclables will occur on the same day as normal garbage collection, every other week, at street side or at alley for carts at every dwelling. Approximately 1285 tons of household recycling was collected in 2023. Services will begin July 1, 2024, with a contract term of five years.
