Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Tree pruning utilizing bucket trucks or climbers. Pruning must be conducted by a licensed arborist. 2. Tree removal utilizing bucket trucks and/or climbers. Contractors must be able to employ proper means and methods to safely remove trees in a variety of settings including locations: a. close to/overhanging buildings, b. in close proximity to power/utility lines, c. in open fields, d. in wooded areas, and e. in building courtyards. 3. Removal and disposal of all tree debris from site. Redistribution of wood chips on site may be allowed at the discretion of the Town of East Hartford. 4. Stump grinding 5. Tree health evaluations and recommendations 6. Coordination with Town Tree Wardens to ensure all legal requirements surrounding tree removal are met. Firms must maintain a safe working environment for their workers, Town employees, adjacent property owners, bystanders, and the traveling public.
