If a generator/power station is awarded to a family or home, it must be presented as a “package” including any power cords, monitors, fuel tanks, recharging cables and/or solar panel. x The County does not know the number of families that will request generators or power stations. x For the purpose of this solicitation, based upon a review of items for sale online, the benchmark for dual-fuel generators (approximately 5,000 watts running) and for dual-rechargeable power stations (designed to run 10 hours or more and to power laptops/radios/TVs and possibly one heater ) is $1,500 for the generators and up to $1,300 for a large power station. x County also requests pricing for small power stations/UPS, in case a decision is made to provide both a generator and a small UPS. x Pricing is also requested for any power cords, fuel tanks, CO2 monitors or related equipment/supplies, including a solar panel for power station recharging. x Respondents will also need to provide a realistic estimate of the inventory that could be provided. This may be quoted as a monthly “stock” to be provided, for the months March through August, 2024. x Estimate shipping costs for all priced products must also be stated. x Warranties provided for the generators and the power stations must be stated. x For power stations, battery run time must be stated in hours, based upon at least 90% usage of capacity. x For generators, the surge and running capacities must be noted.
