Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of this project consists of an addition to an existing fire station built in 1995, located at 401 E. North Street, Smolan, Kansas 67456. The station is Saline County Rural Fire District #6 and is a volunteer fire protection district. The present station is an all-steel building measuring 45'0" E/W x 60'0" N/S x 14'0"; with a 2:12 roof slope, three 12'0" x 12'0" bay doors on the south, and a 3'0" walk-in door on the east. The addition will provide two (2) bays for fire apparatus as well as essential space for volunteer firefighter training and vehicle and equipment maintenance. The specifications listed in this Invitation to Bid are for the building addition, concrete floor, and approach.
