Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Navajo Nation through its agent, the Navajo Division of Public Safety (NDPS), seeks proposals from qualified vendors to oversee all financials of the Rural Addressing and Emergency Communications (9-1-1) projects. 1. General Administrative Statements a. The NDPS will be contracting and managing several projects to expand and improve public safety infrastructure within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation. Two of the projects central to this initiative are the establishment and implementation of comprehensive Rural Addressing, and the consolidation of several disparate public safety dispatch centers into two NextGen 9-1-1 Primary Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). The budget allocated for these primary, and other supporting projects is $35,000,000. NDPS is looking to contract with an accounting services company capable of overseeing, tracking, and verifying expenditures from the allotted budget in support of these projects. b. The Navajo Nation has set June 28, 2024, as the last date to encumber the allocation contained in CJN-29-22 forthis project. The project must be completed and encumbered allocations liquidated by September 30, 2026. The proposer should prepare their submissions to ensure their active participation for the duration of the project timeline to September 30, 2026. c. Selected vendors must provide sufficient personnel to ensure work product deliverables are received within agreed-upon timeframes or milestones.
