Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Provide three (3) helicopters, three (3) experienced pilot(s), a fuel service truck, and fuel service truck driver. b. Offeror must be available for this project within a 48-hour notice by Agency. c. Conduct approximately 60 hours of flight time depending on weather conditions, sagegrouse distribution, and flight time costs. Flights will typically last two to four hours, beginning atsunrise and continue through peak lekking activity. d. Transport up to two (2) biologists per flight to survey sage-grouse leks in Harney County, Oregon. e. The Offeror’s pilot will determine all conditions regarding safety prior to and during the flight. Should the Offeror’s pilot consider the conditions unsafe, the pilot and the Agency Crew will either forego that particular flight, return to base, or land at another site deemed more appropriate for safety. f. Coordinate with Agency prior to initiation of each day’s work and maintain communication throughout the workday.
