Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Walk-in Access is a program of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR). Participating vendors are private landowners who enter into contractual agreements with DWR to establish public access to their lands for the purpose of hunting, trapping, or fishing. These contracts enable public use of the Walk-in Access properties without any costs or fees to the public visitor. Walk-in Access is integral to the DWR’s objectives to provide valuable opportunities for wildlife-related recreation in Utah, especially in portions of the state which are primarily held by private ownership. The WIA properties are available to any person who has obtained the free annual Walk-in Access authorization number and is accessing the property for the permitted activities for the property. This contract would establish a Walk-in Access arrangement on 8 property locations, each considered distinct and separate Walk-in Access areas. The duration of the contract is expected to facilitate public access from February 1, 2024 - June 30, 2028.
