Specifications include, but are not limited to: Eastern Kentucky University seeks the services of a professional consultant to conduct a comprehensive analysis of all facets of information and technology services and service delivery, made available. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of negotiating a personal service contract with a professional information and technology services consultant (“Offeror”) to perform a comprehensive analysis of all facets of information and technology services and service delivery, made available and provided by Eastern Kentucky University for its customers, including but not limited to, students, faculty, and staff. Necessary requirements and demonstrated skills, expertise, and appropriate relevant experience of the Successful Offeror, shall include but is not limited to: • Expertise in unique public higher education technology/information needs/requirements as well as private/corporate/business environment • Expertise and engagement within the broader information/service community • Expertise with comprehensive risk assessment; ability to assess cyber risk landscape and articulate understanding of current and growing threat environment • Understanding of cyber security; the application of controls and technologies to protect environments, information, systems, networks, devices, data, etc., from attack • Understanding of technology and information services “best practices” • Understanding of applicable state, federal, and international data and cyber security laws and compliance requirements • Proven history, ability, and relevant experience to execute this engagement: • Staff and credentials of assigned team, including individuals’ experience, resumes, and roles in this engagement
