Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. Contractor shall be the Co-permitee on the NPDES Permit required for this project. C. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1.) The Jordan Truck Station Campus Project is comprised of new site development and the construction of a new main truck station building and multiple outbuildings. 2.) The main truck station building houses private offices, crew room, locker rooms, and support spaces, vehicle storage, wash bay, and brine support space on a single level. Mechanical equipment is located on a partial mezzanine level. The main truck station building consists of a precast shell with structural steel framing and concrete foundations. The main building utilizes a gas-fired boiler system with make-up air for heating and cooling, and a photovoltaics solar array for power generation. 3.) The outbuildings include a pre-engineered unheated storage building, steel framed-fabric covered salt storage shelter, and wood framed covered material bins with precast concrete âTâ bunker walls. 4.) Site work includes underground utilities, concrete curb and gutters and walks, service yard and parking lot bituminous paving, perimeter fencing and gates, and landscaping. 5.) This project is required to follow and comply with State of Minnesota Sustainable Building Guidelines.
