Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project will use the following herbicide with an active ingredient of 44.4% or greater concentrate of Triclopyr. The herbicide will be applied at a rate of 1.5 quarts per acre at a volume of 5 gallons per acre. This project will also require a LI-700 surfactant at a rate of 3.2 ounces per acre. The contractor is required to supply all chemicals and surfactants. The bidder is required to use the appropriate equipment for herbicide application in a forested setting. The bidder will be required to specify the equipment that they will use, their methods for tracking spray coverage, and will be required to provide an explanation as to the methods they will use to ensure adequate coverage over the spray area (this will need to be included in 5.8-A Executive Summary portion of the bid). The contractor will also be responsible for providing a shape file reflecting the areas that were treated upon completion of the project. All operations being carried out by the bidder for spray application under this contract may be suspended by KDFWR if the conditions and requirements contained in this license are disregarded. Continued failure to comply with any one of the stated conditions and/or requirements shall be sufficient cause for cancelation of the contract.
