Specifications include, but are not limited to: Expansion foam material provided shall be a hydrophobic, closed cell, highdensity, two-part polyurethane system, such as Alchatek AP Lift 475, or INDOT approved equal. Expansion foam material shall meet the following physical properties: Density, minimum ASTM D 1622 lb/ft3 4.0 to 5.0 Compressive Strength, minimum ASTM D 1621 psi 100 Tensile Strength, minimum ASTM D 638 psi 100; Expansion foam material shall have negligible amounts of shrinkage in accordance with ASTM D 1042 and D 756. Expansion foam material shall have a maximum volume change of 14 to 16 times its original volume. Expansion foam material shall be certified for safe contact with drinking water according to NSF/ANSI 61-5.
