Specifications include, but are not limited to: Installation of commercial washer extractor: a. The contractor must disconnect the commercial washer-extractors. 1. The contractor must contact Eco-Labs and have them remove and disconnect their equipment from the commercial washer-extractor. 2. The contractor must disconnect the power from the existing units. 3. The contractor must turn the water off to both the hot and cold-water supply lines. The contractor must disconnect the hot and cold-water hoses. 4. The contractor must disconnect the drainpipes from the existing commercial washer extractors. 5. The contractor must disconnect the metal brackets from the concrete pad. 6. The contractor must rig the existing commercial washer extractors, metal brackets, and remove from the central laundry room and building. 7. The contractor must dispose of the existing commercial washer extractors, the existing metal support brackets, existing water hoses, existing drain pipes, and anything else that must be removed to install the new commercial washer extractors. b. Installation of new commercial washer extractors: 1. The contractor must rig the new commercial washer extractors into the building, into the central laundry room, and set in place. The contractor must install the new metal brackets at this time unless the new equipment came with the brackets already installed. 2. Because the new commercial washer extractors are larger in depth, the contractor must install the new metal brackets from the front of the existing concrete pad. The existing commercial washer extractors are installed farther back on the exiting concrete pad. 3. The contractor must secure each of the new commercial washer extractors to the metal brackets and concrete floor. 4. The contractor must install new drainpipes from the new commercial washer extractors so that they will openly drain into the open floor trough. 5. The contractor must provide and install all new water hoses between the shutoff valves and each of the commercial washer extractors.
