Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of New Mexico is seeking bids from qualified bidders for the delivery of 400 genetic testing kits (buccal swab) and require the genetic sequencing of same. We will require the vendor to adhere to HIPAA law and all results would be submitted to UNM and Dr. Torbey as the authorizing physician for dissemination to the patients, privately and exclusively. The genes that will be required in the sequencing are KRIT1, CCM2, and PDCD10. The guaranteed deliverable turnaround time on the sequencing should be 10 weeks or less. All DNA samples (buccal swabs in DNA kits) should have tracking availability on the processing delivery packaging once sent out from UNM to the processing facility.
