Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Jackson (JTRAN) is requesting proposals from qualified company interested in providing a Security Camera System Solutions which will function as an access control system by integrating alarm monitoring, digital video indoor and outdoor IP security cameras, ID badging, visitor badging and monitoring, and database management into a single platform. Contractor shall include in this proposal all camera mounting hardware, support, maintenance, warranty, cabling, and training. This Security Camera System Solutions will replace an obsolete system. City of Jackson will require the winning vendor to assess, acquire, and implement power end to end security solutions or similar system newest version available at the time of installation, new badge readers that can be controlled by the software, new employee and visitor ID badging, and new IP based cameras. This information is furnished to assist vendors in understanding the class of product which the City of Jackson desires. It is no way intended to limit vendor competition. Vendors may submit proposals for “equivalent” solutions from alternative manufacturers, and it is 100% the responsibility of the vendor to prove that any alternate solutions fully meet or exceed the capabilities power end to end security solution. The software should also include Active Delivery which enables windows user accounts to be linked to Security Center User and cardholder accounts, and Site licenses are to be included for mobile app connections. It is anticipated that the RFP will result in a contract award to a single vendor. Vendors must clearly outline whether they are proposing to supply all services set forth in the Scope of Work or only some.
