Base Bid: This project consists of the following: Simplex operation Capacity: 2,500 lbs Speed: 150 FPM 3 floors (3 front 0 rear) 1. New non-proprietary microprocessor based controller with selective collective operation. The logic will include fireman service and ADA circuitry. The controller will have full on board diagnostics for quick and easy troubleshooting, and an electronic soft starter. 2. New complete landing system. The landing system shall provide state of the art feedback. 3. New submersible power unit with control valve, pump, motor, muffler and shutoff valves. The hydraulic fluid shall be replaced. 4. New door equipment upgrade package: a. Solid state heavy duty closed loop door operator. b. Gate switch assembly. c. Car door hanger with rollers, track, and header. d. Car door clutch with zone lock. e. New stainless steel car door panels. f. New infrared door edge that will cause the doors to re-open automatically if the door becomes obstructed by a person of object. 5. New hatch door equipment. a. Hatch hanger tracks and rollers. b. Interlock assemblies. c. Door closers. 6. New guide inserts to be furnished and installed. 7. New hoistway switches to be furnished and installed. 8. New car top inspection station shall be furnished and installed. 9. New alarm bell shall be furnished and installed. 10. New pit stop switch shall be furnished and installed. 11. New pit ladder shall be furnished and installed. 12. New wiring complete with new wiring in hoistway, cab, controller, and motor. 13. New signal fixtures in #4 brushed stainless steel. a. New cat operating panel with ADA compliant telephone and new digital car position indicator. b. New surface mounted hall stations installed at the approved elevation for compliance with the requirements of the ADA. The hall station at the main egress floor/ opening will include fire service signage, fire service key switch, fire service indicator, and a digital position indicator located in the fixture. c. New digital position indicators shall be included. d. New hoistway access stations at the top and bottom floors to allow sage access to the hoistway per A17.1 code requirement. e. New ADA signage includes jamb markers at each landing. 14. New equipment to be reused: Jack assembly, buffers, sills, hoistway door frames, hall doors, car sling, platform, guide rails, guide rail brackets, and guides.
