Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Apply and furnish any, and all permits required by the Town of Beacon Falls Building, Planning and Zoning, and Wetlands departments prior to the start of work. ● Provide any and all erosion and sediment control for excavation needed to install the new stairway according to the engineered drawings. ● Stairway will be constructed with pressure treated lumber and railroad ties. There will also be use of crushed stone for the landings within the structure and all handrails to be installed following all necessary code requirements. ● Handrails will be constructed with Trex or Trex-like material such as AZEX or a comparable material. Post will be put into sonotubes and will be of pressure treated lumber. (outside spec. description) ● Concrete sidewalks will be provided at both the top and bottom of the stairway per drawing specifications including the specified drainage required underneath the bottom walkway. ● Clean work area and remove all debris, materials, tools, and equipment from site at project completion.
