Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Contractor will review existing third-party provider contracts and recommend appropriate language to ensure that service rates and invoicing are compliant with current Medicaid guidelines. • Contractor will assist in creation of a Standard Invoicing template/mechanism for third party providers to use when billing for services. • Contractor will attend meetings at school site locations to ensure that there is clarity in discussions with leaders and service providers surrounding billable versus non-billable items. • Contractor will assist with the process of obtaining of NPI-National Provider identification numbers for Providers. • Contractor will assist with the process of obtaining OPR-Ordering, Prescribing and Referring identification numbers for related service providers. • Schedule and provide professional development on Medicaid processes, billing implementation, and compliance to all NOLA Public Schools • Provide on-site billing support to the district and participating schools • Provide administrative support through the management of Medicaid regulatory requirements • Create an authorizing plan for a thorough eligible services review and audit for district and participating schools • Perform a thorough review and audit of provider documentation at the district and participating schools • Annual review of HR/payroll reports, vendor contracts, and any other supporting documentation surrounding the preparation of Medicaid Cost Reports • Assist in the preparation of Annual Medicaid Cost Reporting • Provide thorough review and audit of Random Moments and Time Study system at the district and participating schools
