Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority (SFAA), Division of Procurement Services (DPS) to solicit bids from qualified bidders and establish a contract for campus wide carpet cleaning services using hot water extraction cleaning processes on an as-requested basis for Coastal Carolina University (CCU) University Facilities Operations and University Housing in accordance with all terms and conditions stated herein. In addition, CCU is seeking qualified bidders to provide services related to mild or moderate water extraction from flooring on an as needed basis due to unforeseen water leaks or flooding. Currently CCU is using a hot water extraction process. CCU estimates cleaning of 1,700,000 square feet of carpet on an annual basis and water extraction services on an as needed basis. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
