Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contract resulting from this bid will cover service and repair work on District owned Audiometers and any additional audiometers purchased during the life of the contract. The successful bidder will provide Davis School District with the following services: Provide Audiometer calibration on a yearly basis for District owned Audiometers. Calibration should be done to US Department of Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standards 1910.95 App E. To perform these measurements the equipment necessary is a sound level meter, octave-band filter set, and a National Bureau of Standards 9A coupler. In making these measurements, that accuracy of the calibrating equipment shall be sufficient to determine that the audiometer is within the tolerances permitted by American Standard Specification for Audiometers, S3.6-1969. The company must have NASED certified calibrators do the work on the District Audiometers. The following calibrations at a minimum should be done: Sound Pressure Output Check Linearity Check Tolerances Use US Standards Tables E-1 or E-2 for tolerances A certificate of calibration for each audiometer that is calibrated must be given to the District. Repair on an as needed basis any District owned Audiometer that requires repair. The work on the Audiometers is to be done on site at the District Related Services Department, Farmington Utah 84025. You will need to have and provide proof of NASED Certification. Necessary parts needed to do the service and maintenance parts are to be charged to the district as per the bid pricing.
