Submission of clean claims to insurance providers and government payers. Follow-up on denied or delayed claims, including appeals when necessary. Regular reporting on key performance indicators related to billing and coding efficiency and revenue realization. Compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other applicable laws. Supportive education and in-service training for staffing regarding clinical documentation best practices, medical coding, and regulatory compliance. All medical coding related to the delivery of anesthesia services, including, but not limited to, teaching physician services, student CRNA services, (SRNA), concurrent medically directed services, surgical services, , pain management, adult medicine, and pediatrics.
