Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cherokee County School District is requesting proposals from competent certified public accounting firms to determine the best candidate(s) to perform the annual Financial and Compliance Audit (non-inclusive of CAFR requirements), Procurement Audit, and other auditing services to ensure stakeholder confidence and fiscal responsibility. CCSD’s school board policy allows the school board to exempt audit services; however, to facilitate an organized, proficient, and methodical approach for reviewing the credentials of all interested firms, the District has chosen to execute a request for proposals to garner responses and facilitate the selection process. All firms interested in submitting their proposal for consideration are encouraged to carefully review this document and submit a response providing all the requested information in the format requested.
