Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall have earned a Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited university in the field of Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Nursing or Social Work. Contractor shall have a current Counseling License in the state of Arizona with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health and provide proof of licensure in the proposal response. Contractor shall have experience in a counseling practice that shall ensure that all services are provided in a culturally relevant, gender responsive, and linguistically appropriate manner to the population being served. Contractor shall be able to offer telehealth visits or office visits, based on need as well as other considerations such as health and safety factors at the time of service. The Contractor shall provide services in a manner that is sensitive to ethnic and cultural diversity with consideration for people who have limited English proficiency or impaired communication abilities. It is important to emphasize the cultural competency of the Contractor to be able to sensitively and proficiently meet the needs of a diverse population, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) individuals including using inclusive language, individuals who are multilingual/multicultural, including the ability to provide/procure interpretative services, for both deaf and non-English speaking individuals; and individuals of varying racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. Services shall be delivered in a humane and respectful manner and in accordance with any and all applicable professional accreditation standards and applicable laws. Contractor shall have training in advanced trauma treatment modalities to include but not be limited to mindfulness psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and/or body inclusive psychotherapy. Contractor shall have access to individual and/or group clinical supervisor on a regular basis throughout the term of a resultant contract. Contractor shall carry independent malpractice insurance throughout the duration of a contract with the County.
