Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Planning, creating, and outlining the Bridgeport Promise program. The Bridgeport Promise must have a compelling vision to close the college divide for Bridgeport students. 2. Services will consist of determining the strategic direction, goals, and operational structure of the Promise Program and formation of the entity through which the program will be operated. The aim should be to design a program that will provide equitable, timely, and appropriate results for our students. 3. The scope of the program must include program mission, eligibility criteria, the number of students covered, qualifying colleges and universities, which costs will be covered, desired outcomes and targeted populations. 4. Our program must include collaboration with principals, teachers, and guidance counselors, as they provide student support. A data sharing agreement must be established for school districts to share student eligibility information. 5. Building a strong, inspiring, and memorable brand that draws attention. Designing logos, branding, and advertising to promote visibility in our schools and community. 6. Developing strategies for recruiting board members from local businesses, and community leaders, who will assist in enhancing program visibility and funding. 7. Creating a fundraising plan that includes potential donors, along with a community outreach plan to include colleges and universities. Researching and applying for available grant opportunities for the Promise Program. 8. Establish clear metrics that will be used to measure success. Identify a method for tracking degree attainment; through web-based, interactive dashboards. 9. Identifying individuals who are willing to step forward and drive the College Promise vision by engaging local supporters from diverse sectors and local community leaders. 10.Creating a plan for student sustenance services along with a comprehensive cohort model, to include student support in high school and throughout college. 11.Executive Director recruitment.
