Specifications include, but are not limited to: Greenwood County School District 50 (“District”) is seeking sealed proposals for Network Upgrades to include upgrades to the District’s core switches and associated network gear. This request includes support licenses corresponding with the new network equipment. The District requests that vendors provide pricing for a turn-key solution in connection with the network project; to include acquisition, installation, configuration, and testing. The selected vendor will also remove the existing network gear and return them to one central location as designated by the District. No lump sum bids will be accepted. All costs must be itemized and detailed by each entity location. Materials and labor (where applicable) must be quoted separately. If any item quoted by a vendor is not 100% eligible for ERate Support, it is the responsibility of the vendor to provide a cost allocation. SWITCHING SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES: • Obtain and review existing network configurations for integration with new hardware. • Inventory equipment using a barcode scanner, label equipment, and record the below information in an Excel file: o Model o Serial number o MAC address • Switching implementation: o Rack and configure switches Configure core switches as Layer 3 based on information collected during Discovery. • Uplink to circuit/fiber-ring using 25Gb optics Below the core is configured as Layer 2 • Uplink to the core using DAC cables Patch switches using existing patch cables • Uplink edge closets to MDF closet using existing product • Confirm proper switch operation, testing/validation of traffic passing, access to network devices, and internet • Provide configuration files for all equipment newly installed • Provide a Visio LAN Diagram of the new and legacy equipment...
