Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kansas State Department of Education seeks proposals for a 90-minute keynote presentation at the KSDE Summer Academies on June 10, 2024. The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) has sponsored Summer Academies since 2003. Summer Academies focuses on the implementation of standards, assessments, evidence-based practices, and learning culture within the classroom. The 2024 conference will showcase Tier 1 instruction, relevant professional learning based on the four fundamentals (structured literacy, quality instruction, standards alignment, and balanced assessments), a provision for networking with both similar and diverse school districts, and it will allow for participants to become families with KSDE staff and resources to support the School Improvement plan for the state of Kansas.
