Specifications include, but are not limited to: ➢The Contractor is to remove and dispose of, offsite, all existing rooftop equipment that isbeing replaced.➢The Contractor shall use internally insulated duct work for all new supply duct work to beadded. Any ductwork on the roof shall be watertight.➢Contractor shall be responsible for any curb alterations required for system.➢Contractor shall seal any curb adapters or supports that are no longer used and must beweather tight.➢Any roof penetrations must be made in a manner not to void the existing roof manufactureswarranty.➢The Contractor shall coordinate all roofing work and repairs for the project. All roof work mustmaintain existing roofing warranty.➢The Contractor shall provide new factory installed NEMA 3R electrical non-fused disconnectswitch on roof for each unit.➢Contractor shall provide unit with 120V 20-amp GFCI convenience outlet at units for futureservice.➢New rooftop units air units shall be ordered with hail guards and removable/washablescreens.➢The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating wiring of unit to communicate with currentTrane Tracer SC+ BMS.➢The Contractor shall be required to paint new gas lines that run on roof with 2 coats of brightyellow paint. Preparation of the gas line should include wire brushing to remove rust orapplying a rust remediation agent prior to the 2 coats of yellow paint. Care shall be taken sono paint is accidentally spilled on roof.➢The Contractor shall provide and install new duct detectors on supply and return. Newdetectors to be installed and wired to all current codes adopted by the County and connectedto rooftop unit. These detectors shall have the ability to tie into any future fire alarm system.An alarm point shall be programmed on building management system.➢The Contractor shall coordinate and perform start up according to manufacture suggestion asto not void any warranty.➢The Contractor shall provide completed OEM startup procedures and reports.➢The Contractor shall provide an air balancing report to verify each new system is installed todesigned Air Change per Hour specs.
