Specifications include, but are not limited to: and equipment necessary to provide maintenance services as noted in the Description of Services noted below, including but not limited to, cleaning, inspection, adjustments, tests, parts replacement, and repairs necessary to maintain the elevators specified in this contract in continuous use at their established capacity and efficiency and for their intended purpose. Yearly Elevator Code Inspection: All elevators must be inspected yearly for adherence to applicable Code. This inspection is NOT part of this contract due to a potential conflict of interest. Elevator modifications/modernization/replacements that are required will be performed by the contractor at an agreed upon amount. In the event OFPM and the contractor are unable to agree on an appropriate amount, OFPM reserves the right to obtain the required major repair, modification, modernization, or replacement from another source consistent with D of A Purchasing policy and procedure. Approval must be obtained by the respective group representative before proceeding with major repair and/or modification. Certified repairs/installation are required on all systems worked on. All work shall be performed by a licensed elevator mechanic with minimum of 5 years’ experience or elevator repair person supervised by an experienced and licensed elevator mechanic.
