Specifications include, but are not limited to: The analysis shall consider the following: • Risk category II and III buildings, utilities, and infrastructure. This includes electrical equipment required to power container cranes and the Port of Alaska Valve Yard (POAVY.) • An analysis of two hypothetical design inundation depth and flow velocity using run-up and energy grade lines where appropriate. • Develop preliminary hydrostatic and hydrodynamic loads for use by others in structural design and evaluation of risk category II and III structures. • Develop preliminary debris impact loads for use by others in structural design and evaluation of risk category II and III structures. This shall include estimated impact forces from vehicles and shipping containers. • Provide preliminary parameters for tsunami resistant foundation design including estimated scour depth, erosion, loss of soil strength, and uplift. Task 1: Virtual Kick-off Meeting and Introduction A virtual kick-off meeting will be held between the project team, appropriate POA staff and stakeholder representatives to review the project scope, work plan, and schedule. Task 2: Preliminary Analysis and Draft Report Develop a preliminary analysis and prepare a draft report. Contact the appropriate people at the State of Alaska DNR, as well as their consultants, and discuss the published inundation maps. Provide two hypothetical probabilistic inundation levels estimated from the deterministic models. It is understood that these will be estimates designed to provide a starting point for analysis. The 7 POA will provide base maps with topography and key structures identified. Submit the draft report for review. Present the key findings of the draft report to the POA in a virtual meeting. Task 3: Resolve Review Comments and Provide Final Report Review comments will be provided via spreadsheet. Each comment will be addressed and adjudicated with the originator. Following this a final report will be submitted. Task 4: Present Final Report and Key Findings to Various Stakeholders. This task will include attending three virtual meetings with key stakeholders to present the findings and to answer questions. A Power Point style of slide show is required.
