Specifications include, but are not limited to: Respondent understands that the scope of work includes purchasing, providing, and installing all components needed to install a new, fully functioning, automatic backup emergency generator at the City of Murrieta City Hall and Fire Station 1 facilities. This includes all electrical and mechanic work needed to properly install the generator according to all state and local codes along with training and warranty agreement to the satisfaction of the City’s Project Manager. Replace and Install emergency generators at City of Murrieta City Hall and Fire Station 1 all as shown on the Plans, Standard Plans, and specified in the Special Provisions. Bidder shall obtain all necessary building permits required to complete this project. All material and equipment shall be delivered by the Contractor to the site, or to the City yard if removal and salvage are specified on the plans. Contractor shall coordinate with utility companies and allow for construction time for utility relocation by utility agency, at no additional cost to the City. A fully functional unit upon completion of work shall be provided. If through research the proposer determines that the specifications can be modified and still meet or exceed the required objective, the proposer is free to do so if fully described and justified in the submittal. Provide alternate bid to use existing 594-gal fuel tank instead of sub-base fuel tank.
