Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will be responsible for taking proper care of and protecting the condition of the vehicle on which service is being performed. The Contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws which apply and are now in effect or hereafter promulgated for car washing service operations. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, cleansers, materials and equipment for the complete cleaning of County Vehicles. The vehicles shall include cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and vans unless vehicle does not fit in car wash building. *Please note that some vehicles may contain roof-mounted light-bars, adding height to the vehicle. The vendor will be responsible for notating when an antenna or other roof or hood ornament is unable to be removed from a vehicle and for securing the driver’s signature acknowledging same on the receipt. All vehicles that are washed shall be provided with the same care given to detail and workmanship as the Contractor gives regular retail customers. The Contractor shall: 1. Wash exterior of vehicle to remove all road dirt, tree sap, tar and bird droppings. 2. Wash the under carriage of the vehicle. 3. Clean wheels and tires to remove road dirt, mud and brake dust. 4. Vacuum interior of vehicle including seats, floor mats and carpets. 5. Clean dashboard and door panels and empty ashtray. 6. Clean all windows inside and out. 7. Clean all mirrors inside and out. 8. Wax exterior of vehicle 9. Dry exterior of vehicle manually. 10. Check vehicle for missed dirt spots and remove. 11. The above services will be completed in fifteen (15) minutes maximum time.
