Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Pick up Requirements Contractor shall provide pickup services from HPD’s designated location, utilizing no larger than a 40 foot shipping container. Contractor shall coordinate pick up with HPD on a quarterly basis. Contractor shall load items into its vehicles within the time allotted by HPD and safely transport and ship items to its storage facility. The Contractor shall pick up all items and not reject items. B. Auction Preparation Prior to auction, Contractor shall prepare a supply manifest listing all items and detailing the intended action (i.e., auction, scrap, etc.). In preparing this listing, Contractors are encouraged to assess items and make minor repairs and enhancements, provide appraisals/assessments, and cleaning services to increase salability. The supply manifest listing shall be provided to HPD via email prior to auction and/or disposals of property. C. Auction Requirements Contractor shall perform an auction to ensure that maximum value is captured for the items. Online auctions shall be performed in accordance with the terms specified herein: 1. Auction website shall be secured and protect its customers and their sensitive data. 2. Auction website shall be in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the exception of scheduled maintenance, in which customers are notified. 3. Customer service and tech support shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 4. Auction shall present items with “actual” pictures and description of item(s) being auctioned. 5. Auction item(s) prices shall be included or separately list freight and all applicable taxes and fees. 6. Provide electronic notifications and instructions to winning bidder to finalize sale.
