Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Assist Community Based Organizations in preparing bids on the Multnomah County Health department solicitations by ensuring their bids are complete, well presented, and responsive. This may include assisting the business in preparing for an interview or presentation to the agency. • Assist successful bidders to ensure they are successful Contractors to the County. This may include helping to create complete and accurate invoices, analyzing where there are business needs to fulfill contracts, and assisting in fulfilling those needs. These needs may include assistance in customer service or accounting. • Assist in building relationships between the CBOs and the County. • Provide, tailor, modify, adapt technical assistance and capacity building to smaller + emerging BIPOC led and serving community- and faith-based organizations serving BIPOC communities, American Indians, LGBTQIA+ people, and people living with disabilities to support them in their ongoing efforts to address health inequities. • Ability to assist Community Based Organizations with limited English proficiency. • To help CBOs to learn more about submitting a bid. • Help to build a work plan if awarded, demonstrating a successful approach to managing schedules and budget. • Assist CBOs in getting registered in Multco MarketPlace (MMP) • Assist CBOs with other elements such as resumes, illustrating past experiences, references etc. • Attending a debrief with the agency after release of results to learn more about their strengths and weaknesses of their bids/proposals. • Assist CBOs in understanding of the requirements for successful government procurement.
