Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Leave the existing roof in place; remove blisters and loose roofing and flashings; remove all debris from the roof and haul away to an approved landfill. • Provide and install new wood blocking around the entire perimeter equal to the height of the new cover board. • Over the entire roof, install 1.5” thick flute filler equal to the height of the existing metal roof rib. • Over the entire area, apply a continuous layer or 1.5” cover board. • Mechanically attach roof insulation to the existing metal roof with screws and plates. • Over the new insulation, apply a 60 mil, fully adhered, EPDM rubber roof system. • At all walls and curbs, install membrane flashing. Mechanically attach the new flashing continuously along the top edge. • Provide and install new coping fabricated from 24-gauge galvanized steel with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) resin coating. Color to be selected by Hancock County from the manufacturer’s standard color chart. • Provide and install new trim, gutter and downspout fabricated from 24-gauge galvanized steel with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) resin coating. Color to be selected by Hancock County from the manufacturer’s standard color chart. • Perform all work in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s printed specifications. • Perform only as much work that can be made watertight that day. • Upon completion, furnish manufacturer’s written warranty for labor and material for 20-years.
