Specifications include, but are not limited to: Full Depth Reclamation (FDR): General Guidelines for Full-Depth Reclamation: (Note that requirements may be adjusted as determined appropriate by the engineer.) Streets initially to be milled to allow 1 ½” reveal at edge of driveways, as determined by Engineer. Mill existing asphalt pavement an additional 3.25 inches below reveal for driveways. Pulverize the existing roadway material to a depth of 8 to10 inches below gutter line to achieve the Full Depth Reclamation required and keep the grade elevation to allow the asphaltsurface to be below curb reveal. Clip and remove the mixed material to finished subgrade which shall be 3-inches below the gutter line. Any organic laden soils and/or deleterious materials encountered during construction should be removed and not included as part of the FDR cement-modified material. Mix Portland Cement at a rate of 45lbs./sy to a depth of 8-10 inches below the finished subgrade, or as directed by the engineer. Cure the FDR cement-modified material a minimum of 3-7 days with moisture conditioning or 3 days upon the recommendation of geo-tech core test results and approval of Engineer. All FDR roads shall pass a proof roll test prior to resurfacing. Place 1.75” – 2.0” inches of 19mm TP II Super Pave for the level and binder course. Place 1.0” - 1.25” inches of 9.5mm TP II Super Pave asphalt, or as directed by the engineer. For all streets, the existing roadway materials should be mixed with water into the underlying subgrade, with the prescribed PCC, using a pulvimixer. Access to all residences and businesses must always be maintained. Final surface elevation to allow for 1 ½” reveal at driveways. Mill and Overlay (M&O): General Guidelines for Mill & Overlay: (Note that requirements may be adjusted as determined appropriate by the engineer.) Streets initially to be milled to allow 1 ½” reveal at edge of driveways, as determined by Engineer. Mill existing asphalt pavement to variable depths accounting for the additional 1.5” inch below required reveal for driveways (or as otherwise noted). Evaluate by proof-rolling. Any areas found to be yielding will be remediated. All thicknesses and asphalt specifications are called out in the Specifications, and the Bid Sheets.
