Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Work Hours: 1. Work hours will be during normal business hours a. 7:00 am to 4:30 pm US Central Time b. Monday through Friday c. No overtime authorized d. Any Deviation of worked Hours and Days must be approved by the TMD Contract Monitor. B. Removal of Existing Roof Top Unit (RTU): 1. Contractor will lock out the power breakers and tag out for no power to the existing unit. 2. Contractor will disconnect any HVAC trunk lines and insulated piping prior to the hoist off of existing unit 3. Contractor will provide labor and equipment to remove 1 (one) 7.5 Ton Petra Model: PPH Roof Top Gas Unit. 4. Contractor will utilize a self-provided crane to secure, lift, and remove the existing RTU off of the roof and to a secure area of safety a. Secure Area will be identified by TMD Contract Administrator and/or Contract Project Manager. C. Installation of new Roof Top Unit (RTU): 1. Contractor will provide a new, equivalent, seven (7)-ton 100% outdoor roof top unit with Gas-powered Heat and Air Conditioning capabilities a. Referenced RTU: Valent 7-Ton 100% Outdoor Air with Gas Heat b. Referenced RTU Model #: VX-12-7I-C-E-1 2. Contractor to visually inspect remaining roof curbing and to provide a new roof curb adaptor which will accommodate the new RTU unit which equal base dimensions 3. Contractor will utilize a self-provided crane to secure, lift, and install new RTU unit onto the roof and onto the new roof curb adaptor. 4. Contractor will ensure that the new RTU is sitting square and level on the new roof curb adaptor. 5. Contractor will reconnect and paint yellow any gas lines utilized by the new RTU 6. Contractor will reconnect power lines to the new RTU Unit. 7. Contractor will run a new thermostat line to the kitchen area and provide a new mounted thermostat. 8. Contractor will provide and install all additional HVAC accessories required and needed for correct manufacturer specified operation of the RTU Unit. 9. Contractor will run a Factory Start Up of the provided RTU Unit. 10. Contractor will confirm the RTU Unit is satisfactorily running within manufacturer specifications. D. Installation Completion 1. Contractor will remove and clean up working area of all unneeded parts, supplies, debris, and trash. 2. Contractor will remove original RTU Unit off-site and dispose of properly per all applicable City, State, and Federal Regulatory requirements. 3. Contractor will ensure to remove self-provided crane equipment within 48 hours after completion and sign off the project. a. Project sign off will be completed by either the TMD Contract Monitor and/or Project Manager. 4. Contractor will conduct final inspection with the TMD Contract Monitor. a. Note: Final Payment will not be made or accepted prior to the final signed off inspection.
