Specifications include, but are not limited to: As part of the design services, the selected consultant will evaluate a number of sites, City and Non-Cityowned, and make recommendations as to the site’s viability to house the FOC given the Project Scope.The FOC will be a mission critical facility for the Water Resource Department’s Administration, Resource,Automation, Water and Wastewater Maintenance, Meters, and Wastewater Collections divisions andbusiness units. Per the Program of Requirements (POR), the facility will also contain space for lockerrooms, conference and training rooms, fitness center, warehouse and parts inventory, and parking for allassociated vehicles and equipment used by staff. The facility will need to house approximately 100 staff.The City may, at its discretion, reduce or add to this scope based on forecasted funding availability and/orother phasing requirements identified throughout the design process.Deliverables:The selected firm will provide the following to the City at the completion of Phase I:•Site Evaluation Report with recommended site.•Conceptual Site layout of FOC on recommended site.•Conceptual design of FOC including but not limited to the space plan andexterior elevations.•Forecasted total project cost estimate including final design costs,construction costs, FF&E, IT, A/V, security, permitting, and other costsassociated with this type of project.
