Specifications include, but are not limited to: Existing components at the water treatment plant include four main breakers, two transfer switches, and several equipment breaker buckets. The required routine maintenance will include the main breakers and transfer switches, and the evaluation will include all breakers (including equipment buckets) and transfer switches. An arc flash study was last performed in 2017.; High Service Pump Station (HSPS): The electrical components at HSPS includes four equipment breakers that are associated with four high service pumps. The condition of the transfer switchgear located behind the high service pump breakers is unknown. The location of the transfer switch connected to the Kohler generator is unclear, and locating all currently operating switchgear is part of the services being requested through this project.; Water Pollution Control (WPC): The switchgear is metal enclosed gear with a nominal rating of 3,000 amps at 277/480 volts, three phase, 4 wire with ground. The switchgear includes a 3,000 amp electrically operated main breaker, a 3,000 amp electrically operated generator breaker, two 1,600 amp and three 800 amp electrically operated feeder breakers. All the breakers are ITE drawout breakers. The circuit breakers have been serviced and are not part of this solicitation except the contractor will need to remove the circuit breakers for the maintenance, protect the breakers during the work and then reinstall the circuit breakers once the maintenance on the switchgear is complete.
