Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Tempe (City) is seeking offer to replace the current thermoplastic trailer, kettle and marking machine (thermoplastic applicator) that is used to apply road markings to City-maintained streets. This solicitation is for a complete unit. Below are picture(s) of the City’s existing thermoplastic applicator that will be replaced. These pictures are meant to be a reference for bidding firms to understand the type of equipment that is to be replaced. The desired specifications detailed herein are based on the current vehicle the City utilizes. Firms are encouraged to provide specifications that meet or is similar in size, function, etc. Trailer - State overall length and width of trailer being offered. State the GVWR of trailer being offered. Tandem axle. LED marker, tail, and brake lights are required. Liftgate assembly or crane to lift the marking machine (or thermoplastic applicator). Explain how the marking machine (or thermoplastic applicator) will be raised, lowered, and stowed on the trailer.
