Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. ROUTINE SERVICES: 1. The Contractor will provide diesel fuel on an as needed basis as mutually agreed upon between the Contractor and the CalVet Contract Manager. 2. The Contractor will take all safety precautions during refueling operations to avoid damages to existing equipment, structures, facilities, grounds and utilities at or near the work site. 3. The Contractor shall immediately restore to service and repair any damage caused by the Contractor’s technician to include piping, wires, cables, utility service or of fire protection systems at Contractors expense. 4. The Contractor shall thoroughly clean up the work area and leave the premises free of waste, spills, scraps or other material intentionally or accidentally delivered to the work site after each refueling operation. 5. The Contractor shall schedule routine fuel delivery services at a time and date mutually agreeable to the Contractor and Contract Manager or designee and routine delivery services as provided by the Contractor will be made to the Home within forty-eight (48) hours at maximum after receipt of order. 6. The service technician as provided by the Contractor shall provide a delivery slip with the CalVet Contract Manager or designee before leaving the facility and the delivery slip must include the facility name and address, date and time of delivery, quantity of fuel being delivered, type of fuel delivered and cost per gallon. B. EMERGENCY SERVICE 1. Contractor shall provide any necessary emergency fuel deliveries upon request from the CalVet Contract Manager or designee. 2. Emergency orders include deliveries to be made within eight (8) hours after receipt of order. Emergency fueling services will be performed 24/7 including weekends and holidays. The Veterans Home-Chula Vista may, at its discretion, allow access to the equipment during non-business hours when necessary
